Seminar 2013
From September 5 to 14, 2013 the Kador & Partner team had the pleasure of welcoming a distinguished group of international IP professionals to an advanced training course on European Patent Law in Munich. Kador & Partner patent attorneys and attorneys at law, as well as prestigious guest lecturers gave the participants an in-depth look into European Patent Law, patent infringement and Community trademark law. Our distinguished guest speakers Mr. Robert J. Young (former member of the Enlarged Board of Appeal and former chairman of a technical Board of Appeal of the EPO), Dr. Daniele Semino (technical member and deputy chair of Board of Appeal 3.3.07 of the EPO), Dr. Antonio Bernabé (examiner at EPO), Dr. Adrian Spillmann, LL.M. (European/Swiss patent attorney, head of global IP at Valneva), Dr. Jörg Dietz (Dietz Patent GmbH, former IP litigation director at Novartis Int. AG), Konstantin Schallmoser, LL.M. and Dr. Ludwig von Zumbusch, M.C.J (both Preu Bohlig & Partner attorneys at law) shared their expertise with the participants, who also had the occasion to attend oral hearings at the EPO.
Various leisure activities including sightseeing tours, trips to the castle Neuschwanstein and Salzburg, a show at the theatre-restaurant GOP, a beer drinking event at the Hofbräuhaus and a Gala dinner at the restaurant “Käfer” completed the agenda and made sure that the participants not only learned more about European Patent and Trademark Law, but also about Munich and the surrounding area.
